I arrived in California a few days ago, on my way to a 3-month residency programme at the Contemporary Artists Centre in Troy, NY. I went for the Creators Project event in San Francisco last evening- an event comprising art installations, performances and new media work. ‘Origin’, a large outdoor sculptural installation (best experienced after dark) by the United Visual Artists, a collective based in the UK, stole the show.
